Welcome to Balee Bakes! We're a mother-and-daughter home bakery founded by me, Runali, and my mom, Viveka. I grew up baking alongside my mom, who taught me that the best way to show love is through food. Balee Bakes was born from that tradition, blending the South Asian flavors we grew up with into classic Western desserts we love to share. Every bake carries a little piece of our story, bringing people together and creating sweet memories to cherish.

How does the ordering process work?

Each item on the menu can be bought by the dozen on the order page. Pick out your items and quantities, fill in your contact details and preferred pickup date, then submit. You'll get a confirmation email right away with your order summary and pickup address. Your order is not confirmed until you've sent a 20% Venmo deposit to @baleebakes. A few hours after you've sent the deposit, you'll receive an email that your deposit has been received and we've started working on your order. Your remaining balance will be due at pickup via cash or Venmo.

How does the deposit work?

A 20% deposit via Venmo (@baleebakes) confirms your order and is due within 24 hours of placing your order. Until this deposit is received, your order is not confirmed. A few hours after you've sent the deposit, you'll receive an email that your deposit has been received and we've started working on your order. Your remaining balance will be due at pickup via cash or Venmo.

Where and when is pickup?

Pickup is in Chandler, AZ between 11-5pm on your preferred pickup date. The exact address for pickup is sent in your order confirmation email. We ask for at least 5 days' notice on every order so we have time to bake everything fresh for your pickup date.

How should I store your baked goods?

All items are made fresh and are best served the day of pickup, but will remain good for up to 5 days if refrigerated.

Why do you only sell by the dozen?

Everything is baked fresh in small batches out of our home kitchen, so selling by the dozen lets us plan ingredients and timing to give every order the same care and quality without any baked good going to waste. Need fewer than a dozen or more than 4 dozen of an item? Email us at baleebakes@gmail.com and we'll see what we can do.
